Rose City Astronomers
We are extremely thankful to the Rose City Astronomers (RCA) for providing generous funding over the past 2 seasons. RCA Board Members attended a presentation encapsulating the main robot mechanisms and programs we utilized for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons to demonstrate our team’s commitment to innovation and growth. The funding we received helped to finance our team’s goals of purchasing specialized parts necessary for this season.
RCA is an organization of amateur astronomers dedicated to the promotion, education and enjoyment of astronomy among its membership and the general public.
We are thankful to Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) for providing generous funding this season through their DTNA Cares foundation. The funding we have received will help us pursue our collaborations with Doernbecher Children's Hospital and Friends of the Children to provide STEM kits to patients and underpriviledged students. In addition, the funding we received will help to finance our team’s goals of purchasing specialized parts necessary for this season.
